The Bowmanstown Rod and Gun Club is a Non-Profit organization located in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, Pennsylvania.
MISSION STATEMENT
This club promotes and encourages sportsmanship, the practice of field sports, outdoor activities, and conservation and all of it's related forms.
This club informs, educates, encourages, and assists in the enforcement of all state, and local laws pertaining to conservation.
This club promotes for the preservation, propagation and conservation of all forms of fish and wildlife.
This club informs, educates, encourages and instructs young people in these various activities.
AND
This club works with or is associated with any other group or organization for the betterment and promotion of any activities mentioned or implied in these articles.
Membership applications available, get yours today. See a club member for an app. Gun ranges are open to members only. All dogs MUST be on a leash. Meetings are for members only and are held on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 7:00 at the Bowmanstown Rod and Gun Club clubhouse.
CLASSIFICATION OF MEMBERS:
There are four (4) classes of membership. Life, Active, Social and Junior. See a member for more information.
EVENTS THAT ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC:
BLOCK SHOOTS
Quite possibly the best time you can have on a chilly fall/winter/spring afternoon. 1st Saturday of the month. 12-5 PM. Non-Smoking. October through April. Located on the upper level of the gun club.
DINNERS
Every Friday & Wednesday 4-8 PM. Weekly specials. Non-Smoking. Year round. Mostly everything on the menu is less than $10. Come in, find a table and have a seat, server will be with you shortly. Very reasonable prices on soft drinks, beers and mixed drinks.
Every 3rd Sunday. 9-1 PM. All you can eat, buffet style. Non-Smoking. Year round. Less than $10. Coffee, Hot Tea, Milk or OJ comp w. meal. Come in, serve yourself, find a table and a server will bring the bill to your table.
!!!NEW FOR 2010!!! CAR CRUISES
The Lone Wolf Car Club holds 2 cruises a month here. April through October. Dinner cruise, 1st Friday 4-8 PM.
